LoveHoney’s latest campaign, Get Closer, is centered around embracing the self and exploring the details of your sexual happiness.
The portion of the product line we got to try out absolutely lives up to its goal of fun and discovery. It definitely displays Lovehoney’s array of toys, accessories, and lingerie!
Bonny Hall, Lovehoney’s first employee and now Global Product Director, explains that the UK-based company works with brands and businesses worldwide to curate high-quality items and make them accessible to the general public, as well as creating their own products.
The Get Closer Campaign is a curation of LoveHoney and Halls’ work, featuring other brands’ products, their in-house-created toys and lingerie, and inclusive sizing, along with their exclusive Fifty Shades of Grey Collection.
Hall explains that the company’s love of collaboration led to the start and expansion of the brands’ work with E.L. James, the author of Fifty Shades of Grey. Collaborations are Hall’s favorite part of her job.
While I gave most of the Fifty Shades products a 3.5 out of 5 stars rating, that doesn’t mean they aren’t fantastic.
Suppose you’re a fan of the Fifty Shades of Grey books and movies. In that case, the paddle, flogger, and blindfold could be fantastic products! They’re also excellent starting points if you’re new to BDSM.
This is one of the beautiful things about the Get Closer line.
A product that’s a 3 out of 5 for me could be a 10 out of 5 for you!
Hall shares this sentiment, saying, “Not every product is going to be perfect for everyone, so we don’t expect 100% 5-star reviews. If you see that on a site, you know something is wrong.”
In fact, this is what makes LoveHoney truly unique: they take great care to gather customer feedback and reviews. Then, they take that and implement changes immediately.
One product I didn’t want to make any changes to out of the array of products I received was the LoveHoney Deluxe Rechargeable Mini Massage Wand Vibrator! I’m seriously obsessed with it and want to buy one for every human I know. (Be sure to use a little lube with it for extra lovin.)
This product was actually my favorite out of the box I received, and, right along with the theme of discovery, I thought it would be my least favorite, showcasing one of LoveHoney’s goals, to promote safe exploration!
